In a captivating educational journey, students from Lekki Diamond School on Wednesday, 2nd November, 2023 embarked on a remarkable excursion to Augustine University, Ilara-Epe. 

The outing allowed these young minds to delve into the world of higher education and experience the practical aspects of learning in a vibrant academic environment.

The excursion commenced with a visit to the University Library, immersing the students in a world of books and knowledge, which was sure to ignite their passion for learning.

Subsequently, the students explored the AUI’s cutting-edge E-Library section, where they gained insights into the importance of digital resources and how technology is shaping the landscape of education.

The Software Laboratory visit was another highlight of the trip. Here, students were introduced to the fascinating world of software development and programming, showcasing the vital role of technology in modern education.

Moving on, the students had the opportunity to visit the Television Studio and Radio Studio, where they witnessed the magic of media production up close. This segment of the excursion provided an exciting glimpse into the world of broadcasting, instilling a sense of curiosity and inspiration in the students.

To add a touch of diversity to the trip, the students were treated to a visit to Augustine University's Fish Farm and Water Factory. This experience allowed them to learn about sustainable agriculture practices and the significance of responsible water management, promoting an understanding of environmental stewardship and entrepreneurship.
